Open Question: What to do with finished latch hook rugs?

Okay so for the past few years I've been making latch hook rugs. They take up too much space and I was wondering if there is a way to sell these? I don't really have people to sell them to, and I was wondering how one would go about getting rid of these projects while not throwing away every your cash. I am afraid to sell them on ebay because someone might accidentally be deceived and think that it was an unfinished latch hook kit, and be surprised to find a completely finished carpet at their doorstep. Me and my boyfriend adore to draw and we made a sign for my sister's church out of wood. it was Jesus and lots of kids. We then hand painted them. Everyone loved them . We was told by several people that we should make and sell these wooden yard signs . The Miz came out and said Randy made a mistake. He said he will be champion if he cashes in on Orton or Sheamus, because he's The Miz and he's awesome. Randy Orton defeated The Miz. Sheamus watched the match from the stage. Randy pinned Miz after hitting the RKO. Sheamus rushed the ring, but Randy saw it coming and struck the Viper Pose, which stopped Sheamus dead in his tracks. This may end up being the point where the television show will go off the air. Cena came out while Sheamus, Miz, and Orton were still at ringside. Open Question: Why was my cash register short? HELP!?

PLEASE READ! I just started my job with very little training at a grocery store. The second day I was every by myself and apparently my register was short $20. I don't know how it was possible since I didn't take it and counted every my change properly. Unless it could have been the checks, but I swear I did every thing correct as they told me to do. I have recently built a pc here are the specs: Asrock N7AD 740i Nforce motherboard Nivdia GTS 250 1gb gpu Intel e7600 3.06ghz cpu 2x 500gb difficult drives 2x 2gb corsair xms2 ram sticks 750W CiT psu windows 7 home premium 64 bit I have had this problem since i bulit this computer a few months ago firstly people told me you didn't have a big enough power supply so i upgraded from my old 550W to a 750W still the same problem occured sometimes 10 mins in some times hours in the my screen will freeze on whatever was happening on screen at that time and the sound will loop. its fine when surfing the net fine watching a movie but with every single game apart from counter strike 1.6 will freeze other games like counter strike source World of warcraft guide & gold etc. they will every freeze people told me it was because of the heat but i've left my pc on over night it was fine my case it well aired i have 3 case fans and sometimes i check the temperatures just to make sure they are never even close to high please i spent a lot of money on this computer it's the first one i've ever bulit and im only 15 so i don't have the cash to just buy another one please any help could be useful, thanks in advance =)

Open Question: Looking for old pc game?

most likely made from windows 95-2000 no keyboard -only for talking to other characters you had to click on the arrows to move -----right left right and back. you had to pick up cards that were lying on the ground. cash in the card which were yellow green and blue for points towards a new character.when you opened inventory and magnified the cards they had symbols on them and if you matched them up or got a certain order you got a lot of points. when you first started out you were a mouse standing up right and i know you could pick from three colors i know for sure green was one of them. If you didn't play online you were limited to the mouse character they had other character ranging from unicorns to dinosaurs you really didn't do much in the game every u did was collect cards and talk to other characters. i think it had to do with some of those jump start to 2nd 4th grade games kuz i remember some of the designs were from those games. like that creepy home in jump start to 4th grade was in their like you could walk up to it but not enter it only walk by it. the learning company created those jump start to k-5 or whatever but has no record of a online game.

I receive good advise in here so reason why I post this inside here, sure somebody has had to do apartment searching, looking for the best way instead of using craigs list right now since this what the guy had requested, looking for alternatives. Open Question: This Saddle On This Horse?

I finally decided to break in the saddle. adore IT! So my pal puts this little bug in my ear..."why did you go with mahogany? He'd look so much better in black. You shoulda got the saddle in black." Of course my OCD kicks in and now I'm second guessing my color choice. Either way it's a done deal, the saddle was custom made for him (tree and every) so it ain't goin' back. So what do you think? I've done lots of jobs. When I was a teenager I was a cashier and worked a pizza store. At the grocery store, the same people would arrive every day to buy their items in tiny amounts. At the pizza store, people would walk in, order, and steer away. In other words, they had a car. They had phones. They just had to have their order taken by another person. In college I was a teller. The same people would show up every day to pay a bill, cash a $30 check, etc., i.e., things they could either do on line, or if they didn't have a computer, the phone, and they elected not to receive enough money to last them through the week or month. Then I worked in mortgage loan orginations and processing and underwriting. The same people would call me every single day about the status of their loan. I'd tell them what it was. I'd give them a timeline. I'd tell them I'd promptly call them if any further information was required from them. Now I work in the operational side of banking, and the same people from retail or Commercial will call every day, with a silly question about how to do something or complaining about something that is was their responsibility to correct. In other words, my job is to make sure help the institutions become compliant with federal and state regulations, not do it for them. At first I thought this phenomena was due to my working in a customer service environment where you deal with the lowest common denominator on a daily basis. Then, as I moved away into operations and underwriting I found that that basest element was mitigated, the idiots remain. So, do some adults just need a full time babysitter? Should I bring suckers and pacifiers with me to work?

Open Question: Which car would be cheaper with this in mind?

Ive had my hobby with project cars in the past, and my last one put me in the hole big time, so let me explain my two recent cars... WRX 2002 I had bought these cars at the time when they just came out so my best choice when it came to the end was me just spending the extra money and getting the STI. WRX - many mods but the main mods being turbo catback 3" open "no cat" exhaust, excessport which you connect with OB2 using it with premaps when you have the current mods done to use each map made which also can be mapped for its personal map but the premade maps worked good, using a 3" catless downpipe, catless "up pipe" to use map stage2. anyways in the end, the added boost and power, the tranny didn't surrive and was a major set back, first fixing my tranny since it was already failing the clutch, and bought a heavy duty racing spring racing type clutch with a light weight flywheel which cost me a ton of money and redid the clutch and tranny and ran good at first and then driving the car for a couple weeks, the tranny failed big time making it unable to steer, redid the tranny using stock clutch and stock flywheel and 2 more failed, company that would take FOREVER for the part to receive to CA which was coming from Tennessee and this was the cheapest tranny I could find which still cost 2800.00 plus each time the store take it out and puts the new one in it cost another 800.00 which had to be done 4 times, which now cost me cash 6000 dollars with a broken car.. so I had given up and let the car sit in front of the home for 6 months, to say the least the car had been in a accident while driving it, still with the broken clutch and no gear 2 and horrible noise went for a steer to the next town and was totaled, so the car was paid off which was good since selling it not running would receive you no money, might even receive stuck paying the bank off the loan if it was sold really cheap for a broken car. WRX 2004 - bought it cause the STI was still too expensive for me at the time, so bought this since the tranny was stronger then the 2002 known for glassy tranny issues. Well I did the same mods and more, general ones.. same mods meaning over to receive to stage two and if every was running good I would goto stage 3 buying the turbo, intercooler and fuel upgrades to use stage 3 and was getting excited when this car also was doomed by the transmission in time, not as bad ending but it was fixed and sold without losing any money. STI now is a car where you can receive cheaper and much more affordable now in my price budget. I am talking about the 2004-2005. Like the somewhat boxy 4 door look, favorite year and that is a car I am considering if it can be done without problems with the added power. I am not looking for extreme whp, just want a stable quick car when it just fun to have the power, I am not a driver that drives like a race car and reckless, steer every over the place. I like building cars up and doing as much as I can, great a hobby i like.. WHP - 400-420 whp Breaks - A car with great calipers like the STI vs WRX how it has the Brembos stock, anyway a car with good breaks which can be made better for stopping which won't cost a ton of money with a car without a already good set. Car that is preferable turbo - IE - building a STI, EVO have a great starting point and being turbo, upgrading really every needs a larger turbo/intercooler for one of the more expensive items which I think is better getting a car that is N/A. Cars I did like and still consider sometimes, 2003 E46 M3 / 2003 E55 AMG, but the problem is parts always cost double vs cars like the EVO or STI, others which I don't know of since I know a lot more about the STI. hoping this post will know of a car that can be upgraded pretty easy like a sti for a bit more WHP, 27-28K I want to spend on the car, which STI, EVO, E55 AMG, E46 M3 are every priced in. Open Question: I am on a F1 Visa (Student Visa) living in Florida. Want to buy a car. Help?

I am on a F1 (Student) Visa from Germany in Florida for another 4 years. My parents want to buy me a car. I have a german lisence, but I heard in order to buy a used car in the States you need to have a state lisence. So I will receive my Floridian lisence in one week. My question would be: in order to buy a car from a dealership what do I have to show them? I researched a bit and I read that you can buy a car from a dealership without a social security number. I also read that I can not sign a lease, which is fine. My dad will pay cash. Thanks in advance

Open Question: Do you think our social nets put real effort to separate the fiscally disadvantaged into the...?

hard working, productive, and responsible from people who are irresponsible, criminally inclined/violent, and lazy? I ask this because not only does it not appear to be so (at least to any significant degree), it actually seems to favor the later group more. Issues like gaining more welfare income for generating more kids while on welfare, this encourages those on welfare to produce more kids as it becomes a source of income and not an economic burden, the rewards/punishment in this system promotes towards irresponsible behavior. Another issue is separating those who engage in risky behavior (drugs, sex, spending, violence etc) but aren't able to cash in if anything goes wrong requiring the diversion of tax payers money from going to more responsible individuals to them who are the most unlikely segment to make anything of themselves. Some states have drug tests but they are so spaced apart and limited in scope that they are easy to bypass/cheat, the info to do such is even displayed on TV and online. So substance abuse is still wide spread among those collecting. Also one of the biggest ones that blows my mind has to be spending habits. There are many articles out about the lousy spending that goes on with a good portion of those collecting. Most recent came in New York below Obama’s Stimulus/welfare packages which were suppose to go to families to help kids with their schooling expenditures, they followed the money and it went to cigarettes, drugs (powerful but legal), cloths, expensive shoes, and accessories. I'll probably rock the boat with this one, but many of the problems in some of the lower class communities are tied with broken families. I understand the reasoning for giving extra help for needy single moms, it makes sense, but I'm also cognoscente of the fact that it also provides a more comfortable environment and incentive for parents or out of wed lock couples to break apart. I know in the earlier aspect, fathers would pretend to be absent and then go back after inspection, but once the social stigma loosened, it needed not be imaginary. I don't pretend to know the compromise on this specific issue, but this brings me to my next point. Democrats may sob and push for billion dollar social nets, new ones every the time, but not once have I heard any concern to either improve or to rid the real and significant issues with our social nets, it is like placing building logs of unknown status upon known termite infested ones, without spraying the old logs. Don’t you think there is some obligation for those collecting to comply to higher standards? Tax payers are giving up some of their rights by having a portion of their work siphoned from them to help the disadvantaged, the disadvantaged but responsible are working on trying to make good on that investment, despite every the institutional pulls to be anything but. I don’t think this line of thought is too radical, but anyways, I’m curious on your opinions. What are your thoughts?

okay im 15 and a sophomore in high school well will be when school starts and my parents gave me 1 thousand dollars so i told them i wanted to open a etrade stock cash account and my mom opened it in her name and told me i would trade with that and i have for 3 months and made about 400 dollars however now i heard etrade offers some educational account where your accounts jointed with your parents however itl say i have been trading and when i reach 18 its automatically fully in your name and shows its my account and the thing id ask is if i do this will this look like sort of an education and will i be more favored towards a university when i sumbit that i have been trading stock since i was 16 and show them the profits i made so i was wondering how much my chances increasing being accepted in a good university if i do this of course with good grades high test scores and advanced classes which i already have

Open Question: Question involving cashing a payroll...?

Hello, I had a check that is for 38.00 and I went to a place in my local mall called the news stand, not so sure about the name, but it's something like that, and I cashed it, I just got my allow, so I don't have the picture allow yet, so he wrote something down on the back, possibly my allow number, and he looked at for a long time, he didn't ask me for my ss number, that question one: Is That Normal? cause i know walmart needs it... He also charged me a five dollar fee for cashing a 38 dollar check, and said if i was a regular, it's less, my second question is: Is That Legal? (are there any laws that applies to check cashing?) Also, what do they do with that check? do they contact my bank account and confirm, or do they put a written record on my bank account? (this is the most important question) and finally I want to know what nice of things would go wrong with it? what if because he forgot to ask for my ss number, would I receive a mail notice that I need to return the money?? I'm sorry this is my first time cashing a check, so I don't want to have anything to go wrong, so im being extra careful, the more details the better, thank you!

Open Question: Cost of vaccinations (immunizations) for a 2 year old child?

I just need to know how much it might cost me to receive my 2 year old son vaccinated. I don't have insurance, as I just started a new job (and I don't receive my first paycheck for 3 weeks....stupid bi-weekly pay period), so I'll probably be paying cash. I need to know if I can afford it, or maybe ask my parents for a little help until next pay day. I live in a tiny town area in Ohio, so doctors aren't as astronomically priced as, say, somewhere like L.A. California, or Las Vegas Nevada. But I'm sure the cost of the vaccines are similar, but the doctor's fees might be cheaper. Anyone have any information that could help me out? I'm looking for numbers, not links to a site with more links to a site with ads. I've already tried finding this needle in the haystack that is the internet. Pediatrician is only in three days a week here, and that wont be for a few more days. I'd like to receive an idea how much it would cost so I can call my parents before hand. We're somewhat pressed for time (longer story). As for a health dept., if you mean Medicaid, we tried, and still would take a long time because we don't have every the documents on hand to receive it. We'd have to order b-certificates from where we moved from, which would take 10-14 business days. We'd like to receive his vaccinations done before that because we're ALREADY behind. So, if anyone has paid cash for a two year old's vaccinations, how much did it cost?

Open Question: My paystub indicates that I received a cash advance. What is that about?

As I understand it, a cash advance is when you need a loan immediately, and it is to be repaid in your next paycheck. I never borrowed money from my employer, yet it is showing that I repaid a cash advance for some arbitrary amount, $28.11. What kinds of schemes are going on here?

Open Question: Will Gamestop give me cash for a trade in?

I came across a Nintendo DSi the other day that I have no use for. I want to trade it into Gamestop but I hear they take 20% off the trade in value for cash. Is this true? And if so, is there anywhere other than Craigslist that I can trade it in for somewhat full value of what its depreciated value is in the Southern California area? Thanks.
